Reunion 1994

Saturday July 9, 1994

The 82nd annual gathering of the Horn, Mensch & Hartzell family was held
at the home of Jim and Connie Crane. In attendance were 62 people (some
left early and some came late). It was an extremely hot day and a
thunderstorm blew though while we enjoyed our lunch. The rest of the day
was again hot but everyone enjoyed themselves.

The secretarial report was read and approved.

The treasurer’s report was read and also approved ($106.16).

The historians report included:
Mensch -
Les A Lori Garr had a boy - Ike Frederick born May 16, 1994.
David <& Christine Ascani had a girl - Erika Born June 1994.
Curtis Gardner married Lisa Seiple on Dec 13.1993.
Horn -
William Thomas Pysher married Christine Rutt on Sept 11.1993.
Hartzell -
Richard & Charmain Hartzell gave birth to a boy - Michael Melvin born
March 15, 1994.
The passing on of Paul Dunbar on April 4, 1994 and Earl Ott (date unknown).

A collection of $109.00 was taken. It was agreed on to donate $50.00 to
Jim and Connie Crane for their generosity, time and effort.
Lynn Coyle received $13.25 towards the reunion announcement postcards.
Elections of new officers: President - Floyd Mensch Vice President - Raymond Hartzell Treasure - Suzanne Sartini (no change) Secretary - Lynn Coyle (no change)
A "thank you" went out to Raymond Hartzell for the use of this tent and was asked to supply one again in 1995.

Jim and Connie Crane invited us back again next year - July 8, 1995.

Happy Birthdays went out to Betty Jane Hartzell and Lenora Horn.

It was voted not to send postcards to people who have not attended in the past 3 years.

Motioned to ask Jim Crane to obtain 1/4 or 1/2 of beer and birch beer.

Donna passed out family tree photo copies so we can try to make a complete and accurate family tree.
