Reunion 2009

HORN, HARTZELL, MENSCH REUNION
MINUTES
July 12, 2009


President Raymond Hartzell called the meeting to order.

· The Secretary’s report was read and approved.

· The Treasurer’s Report was read and approved as the following:
o Balance
o $558.16
o + Collection – 237.00 (2009)
o - Park Rental - $100.00 (2010)
o - + Deposited - 5.00
o + Interest $1.85
o –Food, Peanuts, Prizes - $149.00 (Expenses – 2009)
o - Postage – 28.00 (2009)
o + Refund from last year’s reunion - $40.00
o Balance $565.01

There was no old business.

New Business:
· Discussion was held on changing the organization of the reunion to a committee instead of families. It was approved and a committee was selected.

· Web Site: Anyone wishing to be included on updates through Web Site should give email address to me and I will forward to Lynn Coyle

· The park fee went up from $75.00 to $100.00.

· Thanks to Hartzell families for hosting this year’s reunion with a Crazy Hat Day. Lots of crazy hats for our Hat Parade.
· Angie Cyphers will chair the committee for 2010 Reunion. Shirley Ascani, Eileen LaBarre, Karen Chidsey, Ashley Williams and Elton Horn volunteered to help plan next year’s reunion on Sunday, July 11, 2010. It was decided to have the reunion once again at East Bangor Park. Betty Jane Hartzell will reserve the park.

· A paper was circulated for anyone who wanted to write a get well note to Jody Padula Quinn who is battling cancer.

The meeting was adjourned.

Elton Horn offered prayer and the eating began. There were games for the kids, card playing, quoits, Bingo and a lot of good fellowship.

It was a beautiful, sunny day and our attendance was 70.
